  Neil Lockwood is a singer, musician and songwriter.
After living in London for the past twenty years Neil has now moved back to his homeland and is living in Cardiff.

In 1983 Neil released his first solo single: "Tell Tale Heart" on
Red Bus Records. This was radio capital record of the week and was a dance floor hit.

In 1985 Lockwood's band "The Shine" released two singles: "Shadow Dancing" and "I Dream In Blue" on China Records (Chrysalis.) The band played many Radio One sessions and made several TV appearances.

In 1987 Lockwood left the band to record and perform with various other artists including: Mica Paris, Elaine Page, John Parr And Duncan Brown (Wogan: Song For Europe.)

In 1989 Lockwood recorded an album with his close friend Duncan Mackay (10cc, Cockney Rebel). This was re- released in the 90's as "Songs To Fall In Love To." Lockwood went on to make three albums with Pete Bardens (Ex-Camel) and toured the states extensively with "The Speed Of Light Band" which included Mick Fleetwood Of Fleetwood Mac.

In 1990 Lockwood joined "ELO Part 2" as lead singer, guitarist, keyboard player and songwriter. The band did a spectacular tour with the 80 piece "Moscow Symphony Orchestra". Lockwood recorded a major album with the band and toured the world solidly for the next three years.

In 1993 Lockwood split to pursue solo ventures, writing for himself and numerous other artists. In 1996 Lockwood joined "The Alan Parsons Project" and recorded the album "On Air". He toured the world with the band for the next three years and during this period he also worked with John Miles, Deborah Harry , Simple Minds And Yes.

In 1999 Lockwood recorded "The Time Machine" with the Alan Parsons Project. Again they toured the world extensively to promote this album. There were many radio and tv appearances including mtv's vh1.
During this period he also worked with Tony Hadley, Paul Young, Mark King (Level 42) and Christopher Cross. He also performed with Ringo Starr and jack Bruce on the Michael Jackson charity show in Munich's Olympic Stadium in front of 70,000 people.

In 2000 Lockwood worked with Asia, performing backing vocals on the "Aura" album.

In 2001 Lockwood toured japan with the live project and did a lot of backing vocal/keyboard session work in london.

In 2002 he performed a successful series of solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival.

In 2003 he set up his own studio and wrote and recorded what was to become his first solo album: 'You Can't Get There From Here', which was released in 2004. This dark album was very well received and Alan Parsons himself declared it 'nothing less than brilliant.' praise indeed!

In 2004 Lockwood hooked up with an old buddy from the ELO days to form Bev Bevan's Move. The line up included Phil Bates (ex-ELO Part 2) , Phil Tree (ex- Roy Wood Band) and of course Bev.
Everyone had a lot of fun touring with this outfit for the next few years.

In 2005 it was a great privilege for Neil and The Move to back the truly legendary Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin and also to work with the superb Paul Carrack.

In 2006 he toured with the move featuring Bev Bevan and Trevor Burton. Phil Bates was replaced by Gordon Healer.

In 2007 Lockwood returned to his singer/songwriter roots and conceived a very personal album: 'An Ordinary Man'

In the summer of 2008 'An Ordinary Man' is released.
